Most successful assistant coach in school history!
April 29, 2008 at 3:18 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentFrank has just finished up the softball season, but a couple of weeks ago, he got to make his coaching debut. The assistant softball coach was going to miss the first game of a doubleheader due to a class so Frank got to fill in as first base coach! He managed to remember all the signs and helped lead the team to victory (in what has been a tough season for the team)! He was going to get the chance to coach again this past Thursday, but the game was called due to inclement weather. So, he is 1-0 as an assistant coach! It’s good to know he has a backup career in case this whole athletic training thing doesn’t work out.
In other news, we’re back to wearing winter coats and hats; it was 35 degrees out this morning and there was even some snowflakes yesterday. It’s just ridiculous! Hopefully it warms up by Saturday- we’re walking with Mya in a 5k to support the animal shelter we adopted her for. I’m excited to try Mya out on the agility course they’ll have there- hopefully we’ll get some good pics to share with you.
Have a good week! And if you need an assistant coach, give Frank a call!
Easter ‘08
April 4, 2008 at 4:24 pm | In Uncategorized | 1 CommentMy side of the fam was able to all come up for Easter this year. We got to enjoy 4 inches of snow, while Frank was already in Arizona, enjoying 80 degree weather. But he missed out on the Easter snowman. It was a busy, crazy weekend, but tons of fun, especially watching the kids interact with each other. Here’s some pics from the weekend (the first pics are from the nature museum).
(the snowman after it decided to warm up a bit on sunday)
