Alaina’s 7th Month

-Alaina is now a pro at sitting up. She rarely falls over, probably due to that big belly giving her a low center of gravity. :) Now that she can sit up, she always wants to, which can make giving her a bath or getting her into her car seat a little tricky.

-She is really close to crawling. She can extend her arms all the way and hold her weight up, and she pushes off on her toes, but can’t quite coordinate all her movements together. Let the baby-proofing begin!

-Alaina continues to happily eat everything we give her. Although I think her favorite thus far is applesauce and oatmeal.

-She loves to blow raspberries while she has food in her mouth, much to our dismay.

-She has started making “bababa” and “dadada” noises. Frank’s brainwashing plan to have her say “dada” first appears to be working.

-She survived another ear infection, although it took 2 rounds of antibiotics.

-She likes to give and receive kisses.
