A glimpse into our crazy life

Alaina’s 10th month August 3, 2011

Alaina’s 10th month was a busy one- full of new experiences and developmental milestones.

-She learned how to go from standing to sitting. She’ll lean down until her hand touches the ground and then she’ll plop her bum down.

-She can stand on her own for a few seconds; I think the record thus far is 6 seconds.

-She “dances” to music by rocking back and forth.

-Those 3rd and 4th teeth finally came through.

-She is signing a little bit and learned how to point.

-She went on her first plane ride when we took a trip to Colorado (more posts on that later).

-Alaina got to meet her Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Moore.

-She all of a sudden started crawling on her knees on her first day in Colorado. Now, she quickly switches back and forth between army crawling and knee crawling.

-She started saying “yea” and will respond with “yea” when you ask her a question. I doubt she knows what it means, but it’s rather cute.

-While on vacation, she went swimming for the first time. Luckily, her cousin Owen, who is a swimming pro, was there to show her how.

-Unfortunately, she got her 5th ear infection in 7 months. So, tubes are in her very near future.

-She has a new favorite sleeping position. :)

I love when they sleep like that!! Can’t believe she’s 10 months already. Sigh. Let me know when she gets the tubes in~We will pray!
