Last weekend, the collegiate baseball season commenced, which meant Frank was out of town for work from Thursday until Sunday. I woke up at 11:45 Sunday night to him coming to bed. About 5 minutes later, I heard a little girl tiptoe into our room (we converted her crib to a toddler bed so now she can get out of bed on her own). Here’s what happened next:
Alaina: “Daddy! You’re home?”
Frank: “I’m home. What’s wrong? What are you doing up?” (As he is getting out of bed to go see her)
Frank: “Yes, I’ll come snuggle with you.”
A sweet memory that I don’t want to forget!
